Increaing Storage Capacities
February 15, 2024
With assistance from Jefferson County and funding from The American Rescue Plan Act 2021 the District will constructing 2 new water storage tanks within the District.
- 500,000 gal Elevated Storage Tank West of IH 10 Fannett
- 1 Million gal Ground Storage Tank at Water Treatment Plant
Both projects are currently in the Engineering phase and hope to be under construction by end of 2024, and will be completed by end of 2026.

Ground Storage Tank is 75% complete
Elevated Storage Tank is 75% complete
Both still set for completion by end of year
