The water treatment plant is treating highly colored water at this time, therefore you may see discolored water in system. "True Color" is a measurement of water color and clarity, that is measured in our source water from LNVA. This source is normally high in color every spring due to spring rains upstream in Pine Island bayou and Neches River, but this year the numbers are higher than normal. All regulated parameters at water treatment plant are within regulations. We are performing continuous flushing operations in effort to move colored water out. As we do every year we will be switching disinfection to free chlorine beginning Wednesday July 15, 2026 until August 7, 2026. Please Notices tab for details.
