Where does our water come from? The water district purchases its raw water from the Lower Neches River Valley Authority (LNVA). They pump water from the Neches River into a vast canal system that supplies raw water to many cities, industries and farms. The Neches River has many tributaries including Pine Island Bayou, Village Creek, Angelina River (Sam Rayburn).
